1998 - Creation of the 1st international competition “Riesling du monde”

With 26 years of experience and know-how,

The Mondial des Vins Blancs Strasbourg is the only international competition in the world entirely dedicated to the full diversity of white wines, organized under the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) patronage and also a member of VINOFED, the International Federation of Grands Concours World Wine and Spirits Championships.

REGISTRATION

Awards range from SILVER to GOLD to GRAND GOLD. A dry wine trophy is awarded in each category.

The VINOFED Trophy honours the best still dry wine of the entire competition. The jury also awarded a prize to the Best Effervescent Brut.

In 2025, 3 crush awards were presented:

1. Best white wine with maceration (orange wine)

2. Best 1st entry wine

3. NEW: Best wine made from an indigenous grape variety

Thanks to a global offer ranging from the awarding of prestigious distinctions, through the proposal of sticker medals to be affixed to their bottles to a relay of activities and media coverage of the winning domains for a full year, the Mondial des Vins Blancs contributes to the promotion of exceptional winegrowers from across the planet.
