A hard land, a land of enchantment and silence, in which the cultivation of vines, oil, lemons, flowers and fruits – forces you to struggle, against steep climbs and vertiginous descents. A continuous confrontation with nature to tear off strips of arable land, a land surrounded by the sea, by France, Piedmont and Tuscany.
In the Ligurian Riviera of Levante, the most important grape variety is VERMENTINO.
The CINQUE TERRE NATIONAL PARK, a World Heritage Site, is characterized by vineyards cultivated on terraces dug into the hillsides that slope rapidly towards the sea – and which define “HEROIC VITICULTURE”.
