This came to fruition with the awarding of a new favorite awarded to the Best Sparkling of the 2024 edition.

Heading for Alsace and more precisely for the village of Pfaffenheim, since it is AOC Crémant d’Alsace Brut 2019 Chardonnay from Domaine Moltès won the Best Sparkling of the edition. This Crémant obtained the prestigious score of 95.17 points out of 100, the best score among all the sparkling wines presented! Two brothers Mickaël and Stéphane Moltès run the estate.

This highly precise vintage crémant has a bright pale yellow color with several strings of fine bubbles. Aromas of fleshy yellow fruits and citrus accompany notes of fresh and toasted hazelnuts. The palate is ample and supple with toasted notes, the finish is salivating. It can be served as an aperitif or with grilled fish, seafood or caviar but also with duck or white meats. For dessert, it will be the ideal companion to a lemon tart or almond or hazelnuts tartlets.

The day of the Awards ceremony is Serge DUBS, Best Sommelier in the World 1989,
who received the Coup de coeur Prize from Nicolas RIEFFEL, gastronomic agitator.
